Congrats, Ashley and Rodger!
2/ Salesforce Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Informatica

Informatica may not ring a bell for many in identity but they have a massive data catalogue that is useful for data-centric verification
Many large enterprises rely on Informatica data for cloud data management and data quality
3/ Cisco Duo Reimagines Identity Security to Combat AI Era Threats
Cisco announced Duo Security Identity and Access Management (IAM), a new solution to combat persistent identity-based attacks that are accelerating in the AI era
"The security industry is facing an 'identity crisis' as persistent identity-based attacks are among the most dangerous and costly challenges for security teams. Attackers don't need to hack in, when they can simply log in," said Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer, Cisco
4/ Microsoft: Defending against evolving identity attack techniques
Interesting blog from Igor Sakhnov, Corporate Vice President and Deputy CISO, Identity at Microsoft
Igor provides an example of phishing and social engineering attacks being leveraged against enterprises today

5/ Fortune: AI deepfakes pose ‘significant’ risk to ‘identity systems’
This article covers a talk that Emily C. Chiu, CEO of fintech startup Novo, gave at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women summit in #Riyadh
#fintech #deepfakes
BONUS/ 184M logins for Instagram, Roblox, Facebook, Snap Inc., and more exposed online
An unsecured database containing username/passwords for a wide range of services, applications, and accounts, including email providers, was uncovered by cybersecurity researcher Fowler Jeremiah
This isn’t a great "bonus" but a call to action to ensure you’re using unique passwords and multi-factor authentication on all your accounts
And helping your friends and family members do the same!
This was another #fridayfive #TGIF!
