In a press release, IDVerse announced the beta launch of their new product, Face Access™

Microblink announced a new Fraud Lab focused on improving #identityfraud detection

4/ Sophisticated Deepfake Scheme Targets US Senator

The Associated Press published an interesting article about a sophisticated #deepfake impersonation involving a US Senator and a #videocall

"An advanced deepfake operation targeted Sen. Ben Cardin, the Democratic chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, this month, according to the Office of Senate Security"

The article also references the #HongKong deepfake attack from earlier in the year

5/ Ping Identity Survey Finds 87% of Consumers Concerned About Identity Fraud

Ping published its 2024 Consumer Survey which includes some interesting stats & consumer sentiments on #digitalidentity

The survey included 8,000 consumers across the #US (2,000), #UK (2,000), #France (1,000), #Germany (1,000), #Australia (1,000), & #Singapore (1,000)
