"The lawsuit, filed last month in Cook County, claims Target's surveillance systems, including cameras with facial recognition technology installed in Illinois stores, "surreptitiously" collect biometric data on customers without their knowledge or consent."

5/ UK Government cracks down on ‘deepfakes’ creation
"Despicable people who create sexually explicit #deepfakes will face prosecution under a new law announced by the UK government"
Per the announcement, "those who create these horrific images without consent face a criminal record and an unlimited fine. If the image is then shared more widely offenders could be sent to jail."
